Up and Running!

This....for all you would-be's out there!

I just picked up Karen Wiesner's FIRST DRAFT IN 30 DAYS: a novel writer's system for building a complete and cohesive manuscript...and I'm into it about a week now.

I've completed all the assignments on time -- most likely because I've been living with this plot and these characters for, oh, about 10 years!

It's been good staying on track and having a format to follow. If you're like me (creative types are weird) then you need that accountability (as much as you don't want to admit it!)

I guess I'll just keep posting these thoughts and see if there's anyone out there like me who needs a running mate to get that first draft up and out. If so, please let me know!
